Looking to make new friends? We have an active United Church Women’s (UCW) group, which is open to all women of the congregation. UCW meetings are held the second Monday afternoon of each month (except July and August). The group gathers at 1:30 p.m. for an afternoon of song, reflection and interesting guest speakers. A social time of refreshment follows these monthly meetings.. Teams of two women plan each meeting and they have been very creative!

The UCW are very supportive of all activities in the congregation. They also are available to cater for lunches, be it following a celebration of life service or a special birthday or anniversary. Monies raised through their catering activities support the church and community needs locally and global. The UCW also provide leadership for the World Day of Prayer service that takes place the first Friday of March and attend UCW Presbyterial (a regional gathering of United Church Women).
