We are so appreciative of all the ways people contribute to the life and work of Newcastle United Church. People giving of their time, talent and material resources is such a blessing to our congregation and community.

There are several ways to make a monetary donation to Newcastle United Church.

Offering on Sunday Mornings

An offering is collected during most worship services. General offering goes to pay for community outreach, staff salaries, supplies, and maintain the church building. You can also designate your offering to go to the Mission and Service Fund of The United Church of Canada, which serves the vulnerable in Canada and around the world. You can request a set of envelopes or use the marked envelopes located on the back of the pews. Charitable donation receipts are issued once a year at tax time.

Donating online is also an easy and secure option in order to support the church and its various ministries.

E-transfer

You can donate through e-transfer by emailing nucetransfer@gmail.com, using the answer “Newcastle”. This method of donating ensures that your entire donation goes to the church. Charitable donation receipts are issued once a year at tax time.

Canada Helps

Another option for donating is through Canada Helps. Canada Helps is a registered charity dedicated to increasing charitable giving across Canada. Their secure and convenient webpage accepts donations via any major credit card or through PayPal. Canada Helps provides instant or anytime access charitable donation receipts directly to donors. Canada Helps does charge a small fee for this service.

Donating through Pre-Authorized Remittance makes a big impact in the day to day operations of the church.

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)

Joining the PAR program is a great way to continue to support Newcastle United Church. An amount, determined by you, is either withdrawn from your bank account on the 20th of each month or charged to your credit card. You can make changes to your contributions at any time. This way of giving is a wonderful blessing to the church, because your contribution arrives regularly and can be relied upon by the church treasurer, even if you personally miss a few Sundays. Charitable donation receipts are issued once a year at tax time.
